DESCRIPTION
This course addresses the parallel I/O and Keyboard Interrupt Module (KBI) found on many of the microcontrollers in the S08 family. The intent of this course is to provide embedded control engineers with valuable implementation instructions on HCS08 port pins and the KBI module. It examines the key features of the port structures, the operation of the keyboard module, and techniques to reduce current draw, reduce electromagnetic radiation, and increase ADC accuracy.
