DESCRIPTION
This course introduces some of the peripheral functions built into Renesas H8 series microcontrollers (MCUs). This course will focus on a high-resolution D/A converter that uses a PWM technique. Included on some H8 series MCUs, it is called the PWM14, or sometimes, the PWMX. It also describes typical applications, explains how the D/A is implemented, and details the functions of its control registers. Finally, this course offers some tips on applying the PWM D/A.
