DESCRIPTION

This course introduces some of the peripheral functions built into economical Renesas H8 series microcontrollers (MCUs). It explains how an A/D converter is controlled, using the one built into the H8/3664 MCU as an example. The course also includes example code for initializing the A/D and performing conversions. It describes the Single and Scan operating modes available in H8 devices. Finally, this course offers valuable tips for achieving optimum A/D performance.
