DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Memory, I/O and Watchdog timer module of the H8 Tiny Introduction Course. This module and the two that follow focus on the on-chip resources of memory and peripheral functions that are built into Renesas H8 Tiny series MCUs. This three-module treatment balances the content so that each of the modules is about the same length.

In this module, we'll cover on-chip memories, I/O ports and the watchdog timer. Future modules will cover the other timer functions and will describe the A/D converter, serial communication interface, and I2C interface.
