DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to educate the student on Global Positioning System fundamentals with emphasis on the satellite system, how the satellites locate themselves with respect to ground based stations and how portable GPS units locate themselves with respect to the orbiting satellites. The MG4100 GPS device and the FS Oncore GPS Module will be studied followed by a tutorial of the development systems for these products.
