DESCRIPTION
This module discusses two peripherals you can use to transfer data in an H8S series microcontroller without interrupting the CPU: the Data Transfer Controller (DTC) and DMA Controller (DMAC). We will discuss the design, features, operation, and application of these important on-chip peripherals, which help enhance system operation by offloading the MCU's central processing unit.

PREREQUISITES
To benefit the most from the material we will present, you should be familiar with microcontrollers in general and understand basic issues related to the design and development of embedded control systems.
