The intention of this lecture/presentation is to provide an overview of the mobile location issues. A top-down approach by presenting firstly general-related issues (e.g. what is mobile location, applications, up-to-date information on standards), then moving to techniques proposed and problems encountered and finally focusing on the hearability problem by presenting what is the hearability problems, the techniques proposed for eliminating/reducing it and results on some test cases.
