DESCRIPTION
Welcome to this tutorial on advanced peripherals for the H8 Tiny MCUs. This tutorial expands the scope of the original H8 Tiny series Introduction Course. It was developed for people who want to learn more about Renesas's high-performance, low-cost, 16-bit H8 Tiny MCU product family. The material presented is more detailed than a product brief, but less comprehensive than the device hardware manuals. It is a fast, easy way to acquire a basic understanding of these versatile, cost-effective embedded control solutions.

This module describes special peripheral functions added to devices in the H8/3694 and H8/3687 devices: the Low-Voltage Detect (LVD), Power-On Reset (POR), and Real-Time Clock (RTC) functions and the I2C2 interface. The discussions will highlight their application potential.
