SI analysis is done with the use of appropriate software package. Any analysis process consists of 3 steps, Pre-analysis, Analysis and Post-analysis, a SI analysis process follows exactly the same procedure. SI process starts with Pre-analysis step, which is mainly a study period to define the different electronic system elements, Interconnection components, silicon IC's, PCB structure, connectors and cables. The analysis step itself is defined in the realization of a simulated electronic circuit, debugging and computer program run. Post SI process step is to analyze results, define physical parameters for other design steps and documents all the needed information. SI analysis process requires supporting infrastructure to include many parameters within the simulated system. This paper describes the SI process in detail.
