Modern radios are more efficient than their predecessors making the signals they transmit harder to detect using traditional approaches. This is especially true in urban areas where the RF environment is crowded, and signal propagation is complex.
This webinar explores the use and performance of RF sensor networks for improved detection, identification, and geo-location of modern signals using coherent detection, proximity gain, and time-difference of arrival.

 Bob Cutler
Bob holds a BSEE (1984) and an MSEE (1990) from the University of Washington and is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has been involved in the design and application of Vector Signal Analyzers, and in the development of modulation analysis techniques and other measurement algorithms for a wide variety of digital RF communications formats, with an emphasis on new and emerging technologies. As a measurement and technology expert, he has also actively contributed to the creation of RF test procedures incorporated into various IEEE and ETSI standards, and is currently Agilent's representative to the SDR Forum. Bob is currently involved in developing RF Sensor networks and TDOA-Based Geo-location technology.
