Communication Interfaces for Intelligent Lighting Networks
Overview:
New designs for intelligent lighting networks must work well, be robust and reliable, and meet tight time schedules and budgets. Specific design goals typically include performing white light control (dimming, correlated color temperature, and CRI), as well as implementing color control (for theatre, architectural, and office applications), among other issues.

The networks can use a variety of interfaces - ranging from commonly used ones such as DALI and DMX512 to new wireless approaches. Engineers are challenged to select the best interface and the correct controller for a specific application.

This webinar discusses the different communication interfaces and control solutions now available. It explains difficulties often encountered in setting up and designing intelligent lighting networks and also describes easy-to-use modules that simplify and speed up the system design process.
