| Solving Advanced NVM Testing Challenges with Agilent's New HV-SPGU |
|
Overview:
The characterization of advanced non-volatile memory (NVM) processes presents many measurement challenges to engineers and scientists working on new process development and process integration. For example, modern NAND flash memory cell tests frequently require voltages greater than +/-20 V. Also, multi-level cell (MLC) structures require pulse forcing accuracies of 10 mV or less. Finally, three-level pulses are needed for efficient Write/Erase endurance testing. Currently available off-the-shelf pulse generators do not have the capabilities necessary to meet these needs. In addition, programming these pulse generators requires writing code in a programming language such as C, which does not provide any easy means to preview the shapes of the waveforms being created.
In this webcast the new B1500A high-voltage semiconductor pulse generator unit (HV-SPGU) will be introduced. The B1500A HV-SPGU has +/-40 V output capability, forcing voltage accuracy of 4 mV, and three-level pulse generation capability. The B1500A EasyEXPERT software also has many features to simplify NVM cell testing, including an arbitrary linear waveform generator (ALWG) function that permits the creation and preview of arbitrary waveforms. This webcast will explain the features and benefits of this new solution and show how the HV-SPGU can speed up write/erase cycle times by a factor of 10 or more over that of previous solutions.
Duration: 1 hour
Who should view this Webcast:
Process engineers, device engineers, modeling engineers, reliability engineers and university researchers. Although there is a special emphasis on NVM testing, the HV-SPGUs can also be used in other types of parametric tests (such as charge pumping measurements).
