Alex Goldhammer, Connectivity Marketing Manager / System Architect
Alex is responsible for the delivery of complete solutions for serial and high-speed parallel connectivity standards such as PCI Express, Gigabit Ethernet and others. Prior to joining Xilinx, Alex held various positions in product management and applications engineering with Integrated Device Technology (IDT) where he helped define PCI Express switching products and telecommunications products and supported strategic customers in the networking, communications, mobile, storage and server markets. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz with an emphasis on microcontroller based system design.
Navneet Rao, Technical Marketing Manager
Navneet has >13 years industry experience after graduating from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. At Xilinx he specializes in High Speed Connectivity Platform solutions for FPGA / ASIC / ASSP technologies, Transceiver Technologies, Communication Platform Design, WiMAX / Switch Fabric /Router platform ASICs and Microcontrollers. Previously he led teams in architecting and designing transceivers, Switch Fabric ASICs at Mindspeed Technologies (aka Hotrail, Inc). Navneet is an active member in trade associations like FSA, RapidIO, PCI Express, and HyperTransport. He has been an invited speaker at a number of seminars with industry experts including the RapidIO Trade Association and Linley Group.
