This paper discusses architecture using CPLDs. This method eliminates the use of microcontrollers and its drivers completely, thereby obtaining a low-cost, low-power digital solution for analog dashboard clusters. This analog dashboard solution (ADS) helps to effectively implement a digital car network and exploit the advantages of the digital world.
