This application note describes the steps necessary to quickly begin using the evaluation (EV) kit for the DS8007, dual smart card interface. The note explains how to install and configure the software, configure the hardware, and create and load an application that can be executed by the on-board DS5002FP microcontroller. A simple "Hello World" example is provided, as well as a number of functions in C source code that will demonstrate use of the on-board LCD module.
