As you can imagine, the LabVIEW language has a tremendous collection of libraries and structures that have been introduced and improved over the past 20 years. The scope of this paper does not permit much detail on all aspects of the graphical programming language and why it works for scientists and engineers. (Refer to the Related Information section at the bottom for more details about LabVIEW). For this paper, we will highlight a few key concepts that set the language apart.
