Verisity

ARM developed the AMBA Compliance Testbench (ACT) to facilitate easy reuse of the AMBA standard. The ACT enables developers to certify that their IP complies with AMBA protocol rules. In addition, ARM also supplies a comprehensive testbench environment alongside the ACT that is based on Verisity's Specman Elite.

ARM delivers the ACT with two versions of the Specman Elite verification environment, a Specman Elite toolkit and an Invisible Specman toolkit. This article details the successful use of the ACT and a Specman Elite toolkit by NeoMagic, and the successful use of the ACT and an Invisible Specman toolkit by Improv Systems.
