This paper discusses the design challenges of verifying complex mixed-signal and custom system-on-chip (SoC) designs as increasing amounts of analog components are being placed on designs. It evaluates existing approaches available today and explains the benefits of using Discovery AMS, Synopsys' newest verification solution, for solving these design challenges.
