This course provides an introduction to Data Converters (ADCs & DACs) including usage and selection of the devices.  Content includes:

  • Ideal transfer function
  • Sources of error during conversion
  • Sampling and subsequent effects
  • Current data converter architectures
  • Designing with (including testing) data converters
  • Choosing a data converter for your design

This course will also explain the contents of a data converter evaluation kit.
