DESCRIPTION
This course describes the features and configuration of the serial communication interface (SCI) module. It begins by examining the SCI data register and how the SCI transmits and receives data using this register. The course continues by examining the SCI baud rate registers and how baud rate is configured. Finally, the course examines the remaining 8-bit registers of the SCI used for selecting SCI options, and reporting SCI status, highlighting how the SCI can be configured for use.
