This paper covers the topic of signal integrity when embedding Analog (and custom) IC blocks into ASIC designs. It will take a designer's view of the problems faced, clearly outlining the challenges and solutions available. Also, forward looking statements will be made that will help the design community predict and plan for future problems. The specific issues in single-chip Bluetooth solutions are also discussed.
