The onboard electronics is the most rapidly expanding portion within today's vehicles; software is a major part of these electronics. This presentation aims to explain a development process for networked electronic control systems for the Automotive industry. This process is able to reduce the time it takes to get the electronic control system to market whilst also improving quality. This is achieved by utilizing simulation, rapid prototyping and production quality code generation to the best advantage.
