TTI QuikCast: Phoenix Contact's PLUSCON Circular Connector product line Course Educast • 15 min. PLUSCON circular connectors offers a range of design sizes including the M5, M8 and M12 for sensor/actuator connections; the M16, M17, M23 and M27 predominantly for the transmission of analog and digital signals, and the M40 and M58 that are used exclusively for the transmission of electrical power up to 150A at 630V per contact.

TTI's QuikCast Phoenix Contact's Quick Connect System Course Educast • 15 Minutes This presentation is a brief, but detailed introduction to an exciting new product offering from Phoenix Contact. The QC (Quick Connect) 1.5 represents the next generation in I/O and low power terminations to the PCB. This new insulation displacement plug provides greater flexibility in wire selections compared to other IDC products currently available in the market. Fast termination of discrete, stranded wires provides a labor saving advantage during installation. A common screwdriver is all that is required to make a positive gas-tight connection.

TTI - Supercharging Performance of 2 mm Hard Metric (HM) Backplanes Course Educast • 15 minutes This presentation demonstrates how to significantly improve the performance of legacy 2mm hard metric backplanes (cPCI, VME64x, VITA31) up to 5Gb/s without expensive backplane redesign. You will be introduced to 3M MetPak High Speed Hard Metric (or HSHM) connectors that provide a cost-effective solution for reaching higher speed performance. This allows equipment vendors to leverage their current PCB designs and extend their product offering by taking advantage of new faster bus architectures.

TTI Kemet Electrolytic Capacitors for Power Applications Course Educast • 15 Minutes Power applications place specific demands for life, ESR and ripple current on the electrolytic capacitors. These factors are interrelated and dependent on the capacitor design and construction. The different factors are discussed to help the designer become more aware of what to look for when specifying power electrolytic capacitors.
