Overview:
Over the last decade the role of electronics in our daily life has changed dramatically. Common to all these new embedded technologies is their increasing ability to process information and communicate with the surrounding environment, machines and users. What makes it all possible is the advancement in silicon complexity with the availability of multicore processing architectures and a huge amount of software embedded into these products to offer a continuous beat of new or improved functionality.

Companies have been adapting their processes to provide more functionality through software and improve the impact of software on the performance and power consumption of the end product while at the same time reducing the software schedule dependency from hardware availability. In this webinar we will review how the increased adoption rate of prototyping methods mitigates this dependency. We will also review how value links between the prototyping methods maximizes their benefits for enabling early architecture exploration, software development, hardware-software integration and system validation. The result is a true shift left of the entire design cycle.

Attendees will learn:

  • Learn about prototyping trends from VDC Research Group and how the growth of software content in electronic devices is driving adoption of prototyping methodologies
  • Learn how prototyping technologies can help mitigate hardware and software dependencies
  • Learn how end-to-end prototyping accelerates architecture design, software development and test, hardware/software integration and system validation
  • Learn about the end-to-end prototyping value links and how they help to truly embrace a software driven design methodology
  • Who should attend:
System Designers, Product Architects, Software Developers, Prototyping Engineers, and Project Managers
