Overview
This month we will cover the important—but often overlooked subject—of Power Supply design. What is important about a power supply and how does it work? What are the different types of power supply and what conversion methods are used? How can a power supply affect the signal chain and how do you select the best regulator for your circuit? This webcast will also explain noise, ripple, line and load regulation, power supply rejection ratio, the effects of temperature change and other specifications that impact power supply performance.

Who should attend?
Students and engineers new to the field of power management, as well as those more experienced engineers looking for a refresher on this topic.

Presenter:
Andy Jenkins, Power Management Products Division, Analog Devices
Andy Jenkins works at ADI in the Power Management Products Division working on Marketing, Applications, and Marcom projects. Andy has a B.Sc. Degree in Electronics from Southampton University in the UK. He has authored and presented several technical papers and seminars, and holds two US patents.
