How To Verify the Data In Your LTE Uplink Signal
The construction of the LTE uplink signal is not as complex as its downlink counterpart, but it takes different forms depending on the job the signal has to perform, from channel access to channel sounding, link control and data transfer. Analyzing the uplink signal by itself is difficult because, unlike the downlink, it does not include information to describe how it is constructed. This presentation, which is a companion to a previous Webcast describing the downlink signal, shows in detail how some of the most important uplink signals and messages are built up, and how to verify step by step whether the signal you are dealing with is constructed according to the 3GPP Release 8 standard. This Webcast makes extensive use of the 89600 Vector Signal Analysis software application to show the link between uplink messages and the actual RF signals they are sent in.
