Ecosystem for Optimizing Energy Efficiency in Factory Production Systems
Worldwide energy reports show that electric motors consume nearly half of the world's electricity. This has lead to an increase in development of motor drives featuring advanced control functions and tools to support system energy efficiency optimization. Furthermore, an ever-increasing number of industrial and instrumentation applications require precision converters to accurately control and measure various processes. Additionally, these end applications are demanding increased flexibility, reliability, and feature sets, while simultaneously reducing costs and board area. This technical article explores developing an ecosystem for optimizing energy efficiency in factory production systems.
