The timing of this article is perfect. With the recent discovery of redirect malware on a medical equipment manufacturer's website, our organization's IT department and upper management went into major panic mode. They're completely unaware of what steps are taken at the equipment level to limit this risk. BTW - none of the medical devices were ever at risk, and the panic was largely unfounded.
