The previous paper in this two-part series (Designing 3D Objects for Embedded Applications) discussed ways of creating 3D objects for use on embedded devices. Specifically, the paper covered the three basic steps of 3D modeling:

  • Creating the model's form (the "polygonal mesh")
  • Texture mapping
  • Texture creation

This paper will discuss methods for deploying those objects on embedded device screens.
