A Novel Technique of MCU Firmware Upgrade from a Remote Server using 3G Modem
Due to advent of embedded technology, various methods of upgrading firmware of an embedded processor has been evolved. This paper addresses a reliable, economic and user friendly solution of upgrading a MCU firmware wirelessly from a remote server. The proposed solution offers a robust firmware upgrade technique without involvement of any serial or USB cable in a promising user friendly environment. It primarily focuses on an embedded application for upgrading the firmware over the air.
