High Precision Optical Isolation for Analog Signals

This paper discusses a circuit that uses Rejustors to build an all-analog, optically isolated analog signal link for industrial and medical applications, at low cost and with high accuracy. A digital link could be used, but becomes costly for multiple signals, due to multiple converters required. This circuit allows for use of low-cost analog circuitry while avoiding ground loops, and also compensates for analog-channel imperfections.
