Secure Flash Card Applications Hit the Horizon
Over the next several years the USB flash drive (UFD) and flash card market is expected to grow at a rapid pace of close to 40 percent annually. Initially used primarily as storage media for digital cameras, flash cards are now coming of age as smart storage devices for sophisticated computing devices, especially mobile handsets. Consequently, flash card requirements are changing to meet the demands of this new market.
