Wireless Mesh (802.11s) allows Access Points to form a network that reaches beyond the 100 meter limitations of wired tethers. The network traffic flows from mesh point to mesh point until it reaches a connection to the rest of the network.

This paper provides a primer regarding the 802.11s security. We'll start with an overview of the technology and discuss the background to the 802.11s work. This backgrounder will cover: 802.11 Security Evolution, top 10 things your CEO says about Wireless Security, and what is a Wireless Mesh. From this firm background, we'll look at the Wireless Mesh Security proposed for 802.11s standardization.
