More Info +- Less Info

In order to make effective use of C++, you need to use certain libraries and common idioms. The STL (Standard Template Library), exceptions, RIIA (Resource Initialization Is Acquisition), and other features of the language are very important to C++ developers, but can easily be misused in ways that are not real-time-friendly, and have side effects that might not be obvious to real-time developers thinking of moving from C to C++.
