Overview
This webinar will discuss the current challenges of embedded Linux system development, and how these challenges are met using System Builder.

Open source build systems have been around for a long time in many different forms. Mentor Embedded Linux System Builder is the next-generation development environment for building embedded Linux systems. System Builder is a system integration tool based on the open source OpenEmbedded project which has grown, in part, out of the limitations of the previous generation of Linux build systems.

About the Presenter

Prior to Mentor Graphics, he spent nearly seven years as Field Applications Engineer with MontaVista Software and 20+ years of product development, management and marketing roles in high tech companies. Christopher is the author of “Embedded Linux Primer,” one of the more popular books covering embedded Linux development.
