SoftConnex Technologies is a privately held company that develops Universal Serial Bus (USB) software solutions for the embedded market. The company’s flagship product, USBLink Host, takes a modular approach to providing USB connectivity, thereby affording system engineers maximum flexibility with their product designs. The software solution offers broad platform support and a complete library of USB device class modules.

USBLink Host is written entirely in ANSI-C and includes an OS and hardware abstraction layer to help simplify porting. The software is CPU agnostic and supports OHCI, UHCI, and EHCI (for USB 2.0) host controllers, as well as non-PCI based controllers that utilize proprietary interfaces. The software runs in 16- and 32-bit environments and comes with complete source code and a porting guide.
